Our Story!!
Richa Wahi
Unlike the grandma, it was my dad who tucked us(me and my brother) in bed every night with a story. In creativity and magic, his stories could beat the JK Rowling of the day.
I used to imagine baba having a bag full of tales and feared that one day the bag will be empty. But this was not the case.
The most interesting thing was that before narrating, baba used to ask us about- How our day was? And accordingly the narrative happened.
Those days of storytelling were my earliest lessons in content creation minus the fad/ frenzy of influencer part of the world. As a storyteller; baba held the reins of the story while letting us dip in it as and when required. He was in no rush to prove a point/ drive a narrative/ bring out the moral. The soul of the conversation was the story itself and the heroes were his two kids who desperately listened to it with half asleep eyes. The story was the beacon of pleasure and hope. As simple as that. And the next day … and the next day … and so on.
Spin a yarn continued😊 and That’s how – years later – Tales dat spin was born on a hot summer afternoon of Covid back in April 2020 – with a mission to help people tell better stories in Business, work and Life and Win with Narratives.
In a world with a mad rush of content creation, be a storyteller first😊
“Stories fulfil a profound human need to grasp the patterns of living—not merely as an intellectual exercise, but within a very personal, emotional experience.”
